On our trips customers enjoy the lake's picturesque bays and majestic snow-capped mountains that tell the story of Taupo's volcanic past. Past reviews tell us they find our boat relaxing and enjoy the beautiful scenery, some join in by helping to hoist the sails or take the wheel during the journey to the carvings in Mine Bay.

Only accessible by boat, the Māori Rock Carvings have been hailed as one of New Zealand's most spectacular contemporary artworks and stretch a sheer 14 metres tall. Our skippers share information on their history and significance as they take customers in close for the perfect photo opportunity.

On the trip home, there is an opportunity to jump into the deep blue fresh water for a swim or just watch and enjoy a hot/cold drink. We are fully licensed or BYO.
