Tūrangi Christmas In the Park

Tūrangi Christmas in the Park 2024 is a celebration of the spirit of the Christmas season for our community. It's a collaboration of the Tūrangi community - individuals, families, schools, businesses and visitors. Christmas in the Park will offer a variety of activities for the whole family as it kicks off with a Santa Parade at 1:30pm. Float registrations are open until 1 December and there are prizes to be won. Food vendors are welcomed to offer a variety of kai selections for purchase. An afternoon in the park will be complemented by bouncy castles for the children, face painting and a craft make and take for children of all ages. A children's bike parade will also take place at 3pm with awesome prizes too. A selection of carnival games sponsored by local individuals and businesses will provide opportunity for all to get their game on. Free admission to the Turtle pools will also be offered from noon to 6pm. Various local talent, music and games will be hosted by our MCs from Tuwharetoa FM.
