Greening Taupō Community Power Planting Day

Powering Up for Planting – Join Us!

We’re back with another awesome community planting day — brought to you by Greening Taupō in partnership with Contact Energy and our newest supporters, Unison!

To celebrate this exciting new partnership, we’re kicking things off with a power planting — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Everyone is welcome!

We’re continuing our restoration efforts along Centennial Drive — lookout out for the Greening Taupō, Contact Energy, and Unison signs to find us between just before the entrance to the Taupo Golf Club.

Bring your gumboots, gardening gloves, and your favourite spade (we’ll have some extras and pre-dug holes too!). Don’t forget wet weather gear if needed — we’ll be planting rain or shine.

After a fun morning of mahi, stick around for a hot drink and a sausage sizzle— our way of saying thanks to all the awesome volunteers.
