This half-day Tongariro River journey is one of the best rafting adventures in New Zealand. The rapids are Grade Three, which makes this an ideal adventure for expert or first-time rafters alike. In 2 1/2 hours you navigate over 60 roller coaster rapids with an expert guide at the helm. 

Tongariro River Rafting is a 100% Kiwi company owned by local husband and wife team Garth and Leigh Oakden. Garth has been a rafting guide on the Tongariro since 1987 and knows these waters like few others.

Guided Mountain Biking Tour, Four B Biking 

Whether you are visiting the area for the first time or you are returning for another visit to ride or walk our beautiful trails, your experience will be enhanced with a guide. Your guide will be excited about sharing what they love with you and you will learn things that only a local would know!   

Four B provides B'n'B accommodation, mountain biking transport and shuttle services to all the popular mountain biking tracks and trails in the Taupō region.

AJ Hackett Taupō Bungy + Swing

Located upstream from the Huka Falls on the Waikato River, Taupō Bungy and Cliffhanger Swing offers both a traditional bungy jump as well as a swing that takes off from a 44-metre platform and reaches speeds of 70 kilometres per hour with an almost 180° arc. The North Island's most popular bungy jump is a real blast. The unique cantilever platform projects out from the cliff-top, above the inviting waters of the Waikato River below. Choose from a solo or tandem bungy jump, and have an exhilarating and safe bungy experience.
