Not only the awe-inspiring views of the lake and the snow-capped maunga, but 360 degree access to the very best of the 30+ mountain biking trails across the Supervolcanic Trail Network.
Taupō Town is the epicentre of adventure, a place where mountain biking runs deep in the culture and surrounding environment. You don’t have to go far to reach Craters Mountain Bike Park and Huka Trails, both are only a short journey from the town centre.
From Taupo town you can ride all the way to Huka Falls (and on to Aratiatia Dam), following the course of the Waikato River along the Huka Falls Rotary Ride.
